Three weeks and three major snow storms with another on
the way. Here's a little taste of how I spend my time during and after

Buddy's first flight! Idgie, Buddy & I went up for his first
airplane ride. He did great and is now an official Flying Mutt.

It wasn't long before we started
visiting the local Humane Societies looking for another companion for Idgie
and us. A web search found us driving to Hotchkiss, CO to meet and
then adopt Buddy, a German Shepherd/Chow mix. He has earned the
nickname (we hope it's temporary) "The Buddy Monster."

Simon died today. We had 15
great years with him. He was at least 16 years old, maybe even a
little older.
